A tornado hit my road today…

… ripped up tons of trees, barns, the general store at the end of the road, and all sorts of shit, and there’s been one fatality counted so far.

But.

My family is okay, our house and our bend of the road wasn’t hit, but good fucking lord.

I just had a tornado warning and had to go to the basement of the dorm. =/

Glad that you’re safe.

Egads. D: Yeah, all we got was a “prepare for some shit” email, and then the skies unleashed a deluge that “flooded” some parts of campus. I had no idea how bad it was until Anthony contacted me and asked if I’d called my parents and sister recently, so I had a bit of a freakout and got pretty weepy in the middle of the library.

I am so on edge right now, good god. x.x

I’m glad you guys are alright, too. It seems like the weather’s really laying the smackdown all across the region.
